A Parisian Weekend with Mom

The days fell into October and it was the perfect ending to my mother’s visit in Provence.  We boarded the train and quietly snuck away.  When is time in Paris ever a bad idea?

It was a weekend escape to the City of Light.  The finale to a fabulous two weeks, to celebrate her birthday and to share this magical place together… for the first time ever.  Paris was the enchanting backdrop to two wonderful days… a weekend filled with wandering, admiring and watching.  The life, the city, the beauty, the people.

Under temperamental skies, the weather and light were ever-changing but as always Paris was charming and timeless.  We played Parisians, sharing our afternoons with Renoir and Dior, and celebrating her year with a memorable dinner at The Grand Colbert.  It was special.  Spending time in Paris is always magical... sharing it with my mom was the icing on the cake...
